Silver fork

That time when you're cleaning the back room and you find a sturdy silver fork, tarnished now, that you didn't miss at all and are not fond of using, but it's so sturdy and solid and even graceful, not matching any of the other silverware, not even shiny, but you don't want to get rid of it because it's a sturdy fork and it's never going to bend, not even when future grandchildren use it to dig in the garden. But in the meantime it's not your favorite fork; it's just so awkward and strong that it's going to outlast you and your grandchildren and their grandchildren, and someday someone will look at it and think, "My great great grandmother had this fork, and I should keep it, but I don't want to use it..."
