There are no seatbelts on school buses because they would be hazardous. Do you know how many children would have knots on their heads from getting hit by someone's buckle? I thought about that a lot in the years I rode a school bus. Seatbelts in Mom and Dad's car, yes. Seatbelts in my van, required, no exceptions. Seatbelts as weapons in a group of unsupervised children? Ah, no.
