Bathe in the words of Christ.
It’s the day we celebrate the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ. He came to earth as a baby, like all of us. He grew, he smacked his head, he suffered hunger and thirst, he ran around and jumped and shouted. He learned to work, to read, to consider what things mean. He learned to pray, taught by his mother and earthly father. He asked questions and God answered him. He learned who he was and what he ought to do. Then he did it. He kept going all the way to his crucifixion, outside the physical presence of God the Father, just as we cannot see God the Father watching over us. Jesus Christ was dead three days and then resurrected. He returned to the earth and taught his followers, but as a glorified being he chose not to show himself to all the world. He promised that we would all be resurrected, every person who has ever lived, and he promised us glory like his if we choose to follow him.
His promises are true. I know that we continue after death, that we return to God’s presence, and that He loves us, every one of us.
