Repair

Cleaning is work! And it has to be done frequently! Never completely finished…

My mom used to say that the dishes that showed up dirty right after draining the dishwater, were seed for the next batch. It’s tempting to just leave them dirty and use disposable dishes, if it weren’t for the wimpy plastic forks that lose their points in my meal.

Why did God make everything break down so quickly? He lives in a beautiful place that doesn’t die or rot or smell horrible. Why did he put us here, where we literally start stinking the first day of life?

There must be something important to learn in this necessity to clean and re-clean and tidy and unclutter and rearrange and repair. Maybe because…

Repair is what Jesus Christ does.
