Remember temple ordinances

This was posted on my Facebook page on May 27, 2021. The temples near us were closed due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We were kept out of the temple for over a year and a half. Towards the end of that time they started allowing small groups for live marriage sealings. I waited to return until the temple was fully open and mask-less.

“I am grateful to be blessed with a good memory. I was able today to review the temple ceremonies in my mind, uninterrupted, and remembered most of it really well. I forgot some things and was reminded of them later. I need to return to the temple in person! The Lord God says He will bring all things to our remembrance. But He can't do that if we don't put good things into our minds in the first place. We must seek for good things to put in, so that when troubles come and challenges face us, we have the memory of guidance and peace to fall back on. Priorities matter. God says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33) So in seeking good things, seek the best first: the Spirit of God, the commandments and blessings, the gifts of God. Then God will help us meet our other needs as well. He knows that we have need of all these things, food, clothes, shelter, friends, helpers, people to help, and government. May we live the gospel of Jesus Christ: love each other, help each other, forgive each other and ourselves, try, try again.”
