Leftover candy
Thinking about Christmas candy; for Halloween we gave out Mandalorian themed Easter eggs and Valentine's themed Fundips, because those were available at the scratch-n-dent for cheap. Much less expensive than name-brand candy, and more unique. Memorable.
We didn't get enough people at our door to get rid of all the Easter eggs and Fundips, so I've been putting some in a bowl on the dining table for children and guests to snack on. They're eating them, a little at a time, mainly because they're right out in the open in a big bowl.
So I'm going through preparations for Christmas. My children normally help load stockings the night before; it's their elf-duty. I asked my son if I should put Fundips in the stockings. He said, "I don't know, Mom, do you want the elves to riot? --or excuse me, does Santa want the elves to riot?"
